Overview
HV is a high-performance nickel-based alloy that incorporates tungsten to achieve exceptional strength at elevated temperatures. This alloy is specifically designed for demanding applications where components must withstand extreme heat and maintain their structural integrity. The addition of tungsten enhances its strength and creep resistance, allowing it to resist deformation and maintain its shape under high-temperature stress. Furthermore, HV exhibits good resistance to carburization and oxidation, preventing degradation and ensuring long-term performance in harsh environments. With a service limit of 1165 degrees Celsius (2130 degrees Fahrenheit), HV offers exceptional strength and reliability in extreme high-temperature applications.
