Alloy Grade UNS: ALLOY 120 – Alloys for Extreme Heat

  • Overview

Alloy 120 is an alloy for extreme heat and corrosion services, that also offers great strength. The strength at temperatures can go up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. It is a nickel alloy that contains up to 45% nickel. Alloy 120 also contains carbon, chromium, manganese, and silicon. The high chromium content (25%) provides superior resistance to various corrosive environments, including oxidizing and reducing atmospheres

  • Typical Uses

Chemical and food processing equipment, heat treat equipment and calciner components, turbine engine parts.
